All you need to know about Hobart's new passenger ferry service

 The long-awaited Bellerive to Sullivans Cove ferry service has begun plying Hobart's River Derwent. So, who can catch it and where?

The trial passenger service has been in the pipeline since 2018 and is a key component of the state government's Greater Hobart Transport Vision, billed at $175.5 million. 

For those on the eastern shore looking for an alternative to taking a bus, bike or car across the Tasman bridge, it's been a much-anticipated alternative to getting into the city.
