Tasmanian Simon Boot talks through managing COVID-19 at home in a 'virtual ward'

 With borders open and case numbers climbing, the chance of Tasmanians contracting COVID-19 gets higher every day. 

The state's Public Health director, Mark Veitch, has urged Tasmanians to treat the virus as if it is everywhere, as at the same time major festivals — such as the Taste of Summer — draw thousands.

So, even if you do the right thing and wear a mask, keep your distance and maintain good hand hygiene, it seems there is now more of an inevitability about high numbers of Tasmanians testing positive.
