Tasmania records COVID-19 case in home quarantine from Sydney flight as state misses 90pc vax target

 A woman who tested positive to COVID-19 after arriving in Tasmania from the United States on Monday was fully vaccinated and had tested negative to the virus 72 hours before arriving.  The woman, aged in her 40s, had followed all the rules required to return to the state, Premier Peter Gutwein told a press briefing this afternoon. He said no-one else who travelled on the same plane has tested positive yet.  Tasmanian health authorities have asked anyone who was on Jetstar flight JQ-721 from Sydney to Hobart, which arrived at 11:42am on Monday, to isolate immediately.
